a card in milk and sand coloured card with kraft paper flowers
orginal design again by sue wilson

i love how this style of card looks very intricate but is in fact very easy to construct.

feliz cumpleanos

a spanish friend of mine just had a special birthday and i was asked to make 2 cards for her for 2 different people!
using the techniques and 'skills' i have recently learned from sue wilson's cards i made these 2 cards

the top card is all black and ivory.  the sentiment is computer generated.

the lower card is milk card and vellum with silver embossing on a justrite stamp

you make my day brighter

2 more almost identical offerings using sue wilson's original as my inspiration.

i found it difficult to find a] a nice soft peach coloured card and b] some nice soft peach ribbon to match, so these have become a little brighter than expected lol.
but hey they are a bit cute eh?

i'm doing multiples of each card now so that i can give more to the charity.

i will be doing even more when i can as i have been told i might have to go into the Sussex Beacon myself soon for a little break .... not been at my best recently!
so i'll have more payback to do!! lol!
we'll see

with love

one more for charity using Sue Wilson's design as inspiration

the 'glow' on the central motif is reflection off the gorgeous micro beads that are covering the piece.

i need to get cracking on christmas cards soon!!

just because

this is my take on another sue wilson design
it is on an 8 x 8 card base using black, taupe and teal card and ribbon.
i produced 2 of these to add to my charity stash!

all things wonderful

for this design i mbossed a brown coloured card for the base
on a sentiment surrounded by decorative labels eight die, cutting a frame and embossing the main part with other sizes of dies.
my tattered floral is made from krinkly kraft paper edged with black dabber and spritzed with bronze perfect pearl
i added a flourish and butterfly covered in gold embossing powder and mounted the piece onto kraft card.

thinking of you

here are 2 similar cards from SUE WILSON's blog

they were quite simple to make so i did 2 at the same time [increase charity sales!]
[i just noticed some black pearls are missing on both cards -- i'll sort that out!]

i have quite a collection of the latest spellbinders dies now so i can reproduce lots of cards!

again thanks to my goddess sue for allowing us to reproduce her beautiful designs!  i still have loads more to make!

sorry for absence

hi everyone
sorry i have not blogged recently .... the real world has its grip on me sometimes!

since my last blog i have visited ally pally craft show and had a brilliant day!!
meeting sam poole and julia watts and the gorgeous hels sheridan was fabulous, but my excitement knew no bounds when i got to meet my idol SUE WILSON!!!
she is even nicer and sweeter in real life!!
she was so complimentary about my cards!! thank you sue.  for everything.

so following on i came back re-energised and determined to make more cards for my charity THE SUSSEX BEACON.
this week i managed to deliver almost 50 cards to them to sell, and they were particularly delighted with my 'sue wilson designs'
so now my shelves are bare and i need to restock!!  so i have made a few more cards this week after a little break.
here are 2 cards of the same design from SUE which she recently made on create and craft.  i used my gilding flakes instead of gold leaf.  they are both 6inch square, so slightly smaller than usual.  i left the flower embellishment off one of them for variation.
these are among my most favourite so far - i love these colours and gilding flakes, and the majestic squares spellbinders die is just beautiful!!
