this is the sue Wilson design that has inspired yesterdays card and a few others that I am making with the same technique, which she showcased on her recent appearance on create & craft tv

this is a card I made using sue Wilson 'high-low' technique.

 I put a mask over a sticky sheet on a piece of black card then gilding flakes added.  remove the mask and add microbeads to the remaining revealed adhesive

 

a sentiment on a simple nested shape to finish my recent run on black and gold designs

this black and gold card is another of sue Wilson's that I have changed slightly

 

the main image is stamped with glue then gold leaf flakes on it.  I adore gilding flakes just now.

the flourish is by tattered lace.

the leaves I cut using tim holtz tattered leaves and stamped them with a lace stamp and embossed in black then used the same mica powders randomly colouring them in

 

very simple but seasonal

 

I was happy to take about 25 cards to my charity shop today and they are begging me for xmas cards already so luckily I have a stock already for them!
