this recent sue wilson design was originally designed for a 'special friend' but i have made 4 slightly different versions all as mothers day cards as i thought the design fitted this occasion very well

 

 

three are in blush pink and one is in lilac

the last one is decorated with heartfelt creations stamps and dies

this is a more recent sue wilson design

i wanted to make it so much as i just got the edge dies so i could cut these stamped justrite borders!

the background is kraft and the rest is blush and black

mothers day -- its on 10th march!!!!!

 

i was in the process of making this sue wilson card, when i realised it is mothers day soon so i changed the sentiment!!

i cheated terribly with the flowers on this card ... i used woodware paper flowers!!

i used tim holtz' horologie background stamp on my cards, and 2 different couture creations embossing folders.

 

i was thrilled to see my cards in the window of the charity's shop today!!

i love the background on these cards ... justrite victorian tile stamp

i omitted the pearl bling embellishments that sue used on her cards ... its a little pricey for me to use it on these cards but i do use it occasionally on extra special ones!

i just delivered 24 cards to my charity today so again my shelves are empty!!  more crafting needed to refill them for the next batch!
