charity cards

I had a free day today so put my time to good use and made some very basic cards for a local hospice.
I mainly used up a few old tags and some bits and pieces.  Not my most artistic but they were fun to do.

Think i got some extra energy cos I had an injection in my shoulder the other day, as i have damaged it, and today is the first pain-free day i have had for ages!! c",)

steampunk cards

... a day off today so i had a mess around with some die cutting and stamping!!

... the clock faces on the tag are overlayed with the same image embossed into waste packaging plastic and cut out, highlighted with archival black.
i kinda like black/grey tassels!

one of the mica powders i love the best is not from perfect pearls but is by cosmic shimmer ... its the dark bronze mica pigment and i use it a lot.  its got a lovely brown/green aged patina to it. [individual pots from Crafty Devils] i used it on the larger cogs and over perfect medium stamped image of the tophat men!  they look a bit ghostly!

i'm trying to make some more 'masculine' cards for fathers day .... not sure if these say 'daddy' but hey ho.
