a thank you card

this is a sue Wilson delight that I have made specially for someone

her original was in black and white but I have used blush pink and lilac
all the stamping is done using cranberry Adirondack ink, and I have added edging of wisteria glitter
the background / flower stamps are by heartfelt creations

a get well card

sue Wilson recently shared this design
it is her new die of the background from the Italian collection.

I coloured the areas that are flowers and leaves with touches of distress inks.
behind the background I put a sheet of white card covered with a sticky sheet and iced snow glitter, and spritzed the areas behind the flowers with the spritzing tool and distress markers to give a light colour to the glitter too.
spellbinders bitty blossom for the flowers, an extra outer edge of the iced snow glitter and I thought this would make a nice get well card.

be beautiful

I love this recent addition to sue Wilson's blog

I used a mask for the embossed background, sues Italian collection and flower dies with new justrite stamps. I used spellbinders tranquil moments for the accent behind the sentiment.

be who you are

this is another of the crafty goddess Sue Wilson's designs

using justrite stamps and dies with sues flower and leaves dies

I tried using glycerine on my background stamp; brayering it over then stamping it and using that as a medium for the embossing powder.  this technique was shown by Sheena Douglas.  it really works very well on larger surfaces to be stamped.  [I got a small bottle of glycerine very inexpensive from ebay]

fabulous day

this is a very recent sue Wilson design
very bright and cheery and ready for spring - just what we need!

I have used her new embossing folder and a new justrite stamp set.  I must admit I wasn't sure about these stamps at first but I enjoyed using them.  a different, more stylised, design in the stamps.
I coloured them with distress markers

pink rose

I love this sue Wilson design
as she says on her blog the ivory embossing powder used for the background is a lovely shade and goes perfectly with the milk card
the focal element is coloured with distress markers

wishing you well

a lovely framed card using sue Wilson's background die

I experimented with it to get the white 'highlights' and dabbed perfect medium through the dies then used white embossing powder.  it sorta worked!

happy birthday card

this is one of sue wilsons recent designs using her new dies

I have used milk and rich plum card and used no embellishment as I thought this might be suitable as a mans birthday card.
