this 8 x 8 card is my variation on an original by debbie at paperpastimes

 

i have added the argyle a4 embossing folder [crafters companion], and some piercing of the edges a la craft goddess sue wilson ;)

 

the card is again the white pearl from anne marie designs

 

i wish i had got the large square spellbinders dies before ... the finished look is so much nicer!

i recently splashed out on spellbinders grand square dies to help with my layering

to try them out i have used debbie from paperpastimes' original design and given it a tweak by using the vintage floret flowers in vellum, and a small flourish from cheery lynn

the new spellbinders bracket borders are stunning -- i didnt think i would like them but i can see them being used a lot!

i have used white pearl card from anna marie designs and a tiny peek of milk card between the layers

the centres of the flowers has micro beads in them and i used a tiny bit of amethyst gilding wax on the flower edges to take away the totally white look.

 

a mate asked me to make his girlfriend a card so this will be for her.

using the new spellbinders card creator elegant labels 4 and various label dies with matching stamped images embossed in white

 

the flowers are again vintage floret in vellum with white embossed stamping

 

the background is memory box piestra tile

 

i have several of these in different colours that i need to complete with more flower embellishments.  i really love this design.

i have used my new white pearl card from anna marie designs

you can tell from the reflection of the camera flash it is a lovely soft sheen pearl card that embosses beautifully

i embellished it with roses that are in fact made from the smaller dies in the new vintage floret set!!  this die is so versatile. 

 i used the same blush card for the flowers that i used behind the filigree delight focal piece, and i edged them with a little touch of the new cosmic shimmer gilding waxes in pearl moon and amethyst.

and for this i want to show my latest sue wilson design

white on white is very popular and becoming my favourite choice

 

this is a spellbinders and heartfelt creations piece, the flowers are vellum and the sentiment is covered in microbeads which gives the glow from the camera flash

 

i absolutely love this design, and the sentiment goes out to all of you.

i finally got my vintage floret die

i have a few cards waiting to be 'embellished' with them

i made these flowers using vellum and stamped them with white embossing powder using the matching stamps

but ....the crafting goddess that is sue wilson remains my number one muse and my greatest inspiration

 

not only that but she has to be the nicest, most radiant person who generously shares her talent and time with everyone

 

and after seeing her again today at ally pally craft show this has again been confirmed to me

i've been a little busy lately and have a few cards still half finished

 

this one i managed to finish off tonight

it is inspired by the amazing debbie on paperpastimes blog

she is my new muse!!

her work is just outstanding!!

 

i love the white on white look.  i even managed to get some of the pearl card she uses from anna marie designs [5 for £10 -- great bargain!] which arrived today and i have had a play with it tonight and it embosses sublimely!!  i will be using more soon.

 

i have to make 45 wedding invitations this weekend!!
