sparkle texture paste

these two cards are the same design but reversed black/white, from a Julia watts design

I used the new aurora sparkle texture paste with the random fleur de lis mask on both black and white card which gives a completely different effect for the backgrounds.

sue wilsons new dies are used for the sentiments

and the  butterfly stamp is from justrite

so special

another gorgeous sue Wilson design using her new dies

best wishes

another of sue wilsons designs using her fabulous new dies and stamps

I used a cream pearl card for this with black accents, colouring seam binding with perfect pearl sprays and a heartfelt aster die for my flower

thank you

I saw a design on creative expressions website for this card so I made it in my version

the stamp is another of sue wilsons new designs and it is gorgeous
I stamped it twice and cut out the 't' and flowers and layered those parts.

I used cosmic shimmer bronze lustre to emboss it and the heartfelt flower, then coloured them with distress markers, adding a touch of gold wax to the edges of everything
glass beads coloured with yellow alcohol ink are the flower centres.

butterfly moments

'the butterfly

 months but
 moments
and has time enough'

justrite stamps and dies are used in this sue Wilson design
it didn't photograph too well sorry

you're the best

a sue Wilson design using Teresa Collins papers and the lovely new justrite stamp 'rose vintage labels seven'
again the glow on the central rose is reflection from micro beads.
sue's new classic rose die makes gorgeous roses very easily.

true friendship

this my version of a sue Wilson design
I don't have the die she used for the black 'frame' so I improvised with another one.  I added a stamped image to the corners also as it needed something there.
the 'glow' comes from the reflection of the camera flash on the micro beaded surface.

all my love

another of sue wilsons designs using her new dies
the 'high-low' technique works beautifully on the gilding flakes/iced snow main image

Wednesday, 5 March 2014

you are so kind

this is my version of another of sue wilsons designs using her new die and stamp collections
I just love the lace stamp in this design
I also discovered that it is possible to cut a very narrow nested shape now if you combine the different sets. the white layer under the lacy stamped shape is a separate cut layer, cut using the Californian collection basic frames set A together with the set B.   first time i've seen that with dies!!  and there is also a tiny thin frame at the very back of the main element cut in blue.
my collection is growing!!

you make me smile

this is a very recent design from sue wilsons blog, which I have tweaked for my version

I have the hydrangea stamp set from justrite so this was easy to make, using white embossing powder on teal card for the background

I love this colour a lot!
