My papercraft and card making projects

on your special day

Another card based on Sue Wilson's previews
for her latest Spring Collection.

I used a white felt flower I made with the new Foldover Flowers die, which I tinted with peri Adirondack ink.
The background die is reduced in length by cutting it in half, then disguising the join with pearls.

just for you

Sue Wilson has a video demo of this card on her blog

I havn't done gold and black for a while.  This effect is just black card with gilding wax over it.
The background is made using mica flakes.

just a note

Another of Sue Wilson's Spring releases

I used a dark pink card from my stash.
The embossed section was covered in a double sided sticky sheet before embossing and then diamond sprinkles added.

I wanted the sentiment to be prominent so I glued about 4 cut layers together for depth.

today's special moments

Another of Sue Wilson's new release previews.

I used the Camellia open petal die for the flowers and slightly crimped the petals for a different look.

wishing you a wonderful day

This is my version of another of Sue Wilson's recent previews.

The embossed background I have used Sue's new 'grouting' technique where the polar white texture paste is applied over the embossed card.  Lovely effect!

Another first for me is the felt flower embellishment!!  I never got on with felt before as it is very delicate and I always managed to squish the flower before it finished, but using Sue's new 'Foldover Flower' die it is easy peasy!!  I love them!

you're delightful

Another of Sue Wilson's previews using her new die releases.

I gave this lots of depth in the layers.

happy birthday

This is one of those Sue Wilson designs that just wow-ed me!!
 I HAD to make this!!

Definitely one of my very favourites.

I may have over-inked the flowers a little but in real time it doesn't show as much as in this photo.

just a note

Sue Wilson showed us this design as an example using her latest die releases, so I made my version best as I could in white and soft gold.

I am already collecting these new dies too.

The sentiment 'just a note' is floating on a piece of acetate.

thanks for being my friend

A lovely simple Sue Wilson design using her new background die, which is so clever as it comes in two pieces so you can take out or add the centre part.

I don't yet have the dies she used for the focal element so I used one from the last release which seems to work just as well.

thank you

My version of Sue Wilson's card design using kraft card.

I made the flowers also using kraft card

for you

This design by Sue Wilson uses one of the matching stamps [from Ally Pally!]
also the new embossing folder with the very useful parallel lines.

just for you

I adore a bit of monochrome design from Sue Wilson!

I have only made a few cards recently but I have plans for more -- the charity shop has almost completely run out!!  They seem to sell really well.  With the new releases from Sue I will be able to make some beauties!!  Thank you Sue!!!

happiest birthday

I have been absent from blogging for a while sorry.

A visit to Ally Pally and seeing Sue Wilson demonstrate on her tv shows recently has got my mojo back.

This is my version of a design for which she has a video demo.

I have already got one or two of her newly released sets of dies and more ordered!!  They just get better!!
