My papercraft and card making projects

best wishes

This card is based on a design on the very lovely Julia Watts' blog

I am a huge admirer of Julia's work plus she is a gorgeous lady.

This is another version of Sue's weaving dies with Julia's clever twist on it.  She says it is more time consuming .... you are telling me!!  I nearly gave up!! LOL!  I didn't do as perfect a job as Julia did and mine is a bit wonky!

I used Sue's 'best wishes' sentiment die and added some diamond sprinkles.

I used the open camellia die for the flower and added a couple of stick pins [I am getting a serious addiction to these now!!]

many thanks

Today's Sue Wilson card is again using her new weaving dies.
This is just the basic one used for the base and the Classic Adorned rectangle.

thanks

This striking design was shown to us by Sue Wilson to showcase her new dies.

This is using the St Lucia from Caribbean collection and the Gemini-Perseus.

I used just Sue's picture to work out how to make this - there are no instructions, but I am getting used to working Sue's wonderful techniques

thank you

This is my version of a Sue Wilson design

I wanted to use the new sentiment die so incorporated it instead of a stamped sentiment. It is larger than Sue's original but I think it kinda works.

I used milk and gold coloured card.

I have just treated myself to some of the Creative Expressions stick pin elements that Sue has introduced and made a coupe already so I hope to add them to some cards very soon!

thinking of you

This Sue Wilson design is using her new Classic Adorned Square Noble die.

The debossing on the frame is delicious.

The background has gilding flakes on it and I also used the gilding flakes for the sentiment using flake and glitter glue to stamp with.

you're wonderful

Sue Wilson demonstrated how to make this card on one of her video blog posts.

The stamp used on the focal element is gorgeous.  I used the new latex blending sponges to shade it with ... highly recommended!!

I have just ordered some of Sue's newly released Stick Pin elements to make custom stick pins so can't wait to try out some of them soon!  I don't use them very often as I am slightly concerned of selling them in the charity shop, but thinking about it, if I use my hot glue gun to securely adhere them I am sure they will be fine!
