kumihimo

 

I was off work sick for a week and watched Kleshna on create and craft tv with this intriguing technique I have not seen before, so I got myself some supplies to try it out.

 

this is my very first attempt at kumihimo braiding using black and silver threads.

the result is incredibly satisfying!!

this is just a starter kit that has made enough for a bracelet.  I will try and attach the findings next!

I have already ordered myself a selection of colours and threads and hope to progress onto beaded kumihimo soon!!

if I can do it anyone can! lol!
