just because - its gold!

 

this is a card from sue Wilson's recent designs, using gilding flakes on the background stamped image.

 

I have altered the flower embellishment by using the new heartfelt creations Sweet Juliet flower die, which I coloured using gold, copper and green 3d stamp paint from viva decor

gilding and glitter

 

I have made this card using a combination of recent techniques and designs

 

I made a piece using another mask and gilding flakes and micro beads which I mounted on a white square with some added black filigree corners from becca feeken just poking out the back.  I also made a matt frame with the gilding flakes.

the central element is also from the becca feeken lacy tiers and I used rock candy glitter behind it

this card is the same design as my last post but I wanted to try use gilding flakes to highlight the flowers.

 

I simply dabbed a little flake and glitter glue on each flower after I cut it out with the heartfelt sun kissed fleur stamp and die, then added gilding flakes to them

 

I also swiped some glue around the edge of my matted layer and gilded that too as well as the diecut shape under my sentiment

 

I have some pearlised paper with a gold sheen which I used for the ornate corners also.

 

gilding flakes are my latest passion!!  ive ordered a couple more from the cosmic shimmer range.

the top card is made with white pearlescent card which shows the embossed details beautifully

 

the flowers are tinted with my new 3d stamp paints from viva décor

 

I have made the flowers 'flatter' so that the cards can be posted easier.
