i have been very neglectful with my blog recently ...
i am so sorry but things have been busy recently!
i actually finished this march tag a while ago but just got round to photographing it!!
as with most of tim's tag tutorials i like to try and replicate it as near to the original as possible! i love the cement embossing powder!!
simple but stylish
here is another card i finished off this afternoon using the large 'face' die from tim
[i bought it as a wood mounted stamp]. i coloured this one using portfolio pastels and a water brush. it is stamped on manila card.
the background is a sample from tim's compendium 2 book using the enameled stamping technique [page 44]
i dont like wasting anything -- even sample/test pieces so i used them in these cards!
and this one has the new bubble embossing folder background. the face is stamped onto watercolour card. both these cards will be given to my charity as usual. i need to get making more cards for them!!
believe it or not i have not yet used my distress markers on any project yet, except a try-out on a ticket stamp which came out really nicely, but i gave it to someone special before i photographed it! but they are blimmin fabaroonilicious!!
i'm waiting on a few new purchases to be delivered which i hope will get me creative again!
thanks for looking!!
xx tony

Lovely tag and cards. The sentiment on the second card is really very lovely. I think someone special would be very pleased to receive something with that on it! x
ReplyDeleteLove you mosaic tag Tony. But I have to admit I love the cards more> Whoever is lucky enough to receive them has a real piece of art.
ReplyDeleteWow, brilliant tag Tony. Good to see you back and blogging your creations. The mosaic butterflies have a gorgeous shimmer and I love the blended colours in your seam binding ribbon. Excellent cards too, full of variety and different techniques. Px
ReplyDeleteGreat makes Tony! Love the 'Holtz' tag and the fab cards too! Kim
