wonderful day

This is one of those Sue Wilson designs that just sang out to me!

I love all the elements; the ivy, the edge, the colour

The recent release of new Creative Expressions embellishments is just stunning.  The pearl corners on this card are some of them.  I couldn't wait to get my hands on them!

I'm back with Best Wishes!

This is my version of a Sue Wilson design which she demonstrates as a video on Creative Expressions YouTube channel.

Ohh MYY!!  These new dies in Sue's collection are just incredible!!
This card uses both of her new weaving dies, which are such a clever idea and great fun to do.

There is also the new banner die for sentiments which is perfect, the swirls accent and the new camellia flower, all framed with the exceptional majestic square.
I was so delighted to win one of Sue's draws and get one of the majestic die sets!!!

I want to thank Sue Wilson again for personally confirming to me that she is totally happy with me, or anyone, replicating her designs which she has also stated recently on her tv appearances.
Thank you Sue -- your support for me and my charity is just wonderful.  You have helped me raise £thousands with the sale of my cards in my chosen charity's shop.

taking a break

I might take a break from posting photos of my cards for a while, but I will continue to make them.

It has bothered me that comments have been left that I am making exact copies of Sue Wilson's cards and that it could 'infringe copyright'.

As I always make it clear in every post I publish, I  duplicate Sue's designs as they are so beautiful and I really enjoy the process of following instructions, but I am not good at designing myself.  I donate all of my cards to charity at a great personal expense, and over years Sue's designs have helped achieve a huge amount of income [£thousands] for my charity of which I am very grateful.

I do not understand why people have to comment in such negative ways.  I thought the point of the crafting community was to be encouraging and supportive.  personally I would never leave a negative comment to anyone -- I keep my thoughts to myself!

Service may be resumed when I've cooled down a bit lol!!

thanks

This card was demo'd by Sue Wilson on her recent tv appearance and she blogged it with full instructions recently.

I just love the use of vellum over the background to soften the look.

The stamped focal image is an absolute perfect fit for the matching die.  I would not have thought about colouring over the glittered surface ... it works really well.

This is my first card using Sue Wilson's latest die releases.

She gave us instructions on how to make it recently in her blog.

This design she used her Gemini die as a frame.

I have used custard coloured  and white card for this.

just for you

A lovely clean white and lilac card from Sue Wilson.
I used white pearl card behind the base.

The camellia flowers are lovely and very easy to make.

I can't wait for Sue's new die collection - I have a couple already ordered!

just for you

A lovely Sue Wilson design using her new dies, lovely embossing folder and texture paste through a mask for the spotty background.

I don't have any suitable glitter texture paste but I just bought the clear one so I thought I would use that.
